These little ones are in the early stages—non-mobile and primarily focused on sensory experiences and simple activities. They may be napping all over the place and staying within arms reach of their parent(s) at all times.

The goal of Itty Bitty playgroups is to help parents connect and find community during what is often the most isolating stage of parenthood.

Session dates: September 11-October 30, 2025 (8 weeks)

Playgroup meets: Thursday afternoons

Meetup timing: 1-3pm

Recommended age range: Newborn to 6 months ish

Neighbourhood: Riverdale

Maximum group size: 10 parents and their itty bitty babies

Good to know: Not all locations can accommodate 10 strollers, so having a blanket, stroller lock, and a baby carrier is a good idea

Feedback from past participants

“Was great for getting me out of the house consistently since the work of figuring out who to meet and where to go was already done.”
